Africa is the continent that I could say is my unfinished business, I have only been able to make a small trip through Egypt and without a doubt the possibilities of adventure that exist in this continent are huge. Do not give reasons for not having known more and I have a long way to go in this regard. If someone pretends to be a traveler, he can not settle for just being able to say that he has stepped on the African continent.<\/p>\n
In November 2006 Nuria and I made one of the typical trips to Egypt that was divided into a 4-day and 3-night Nile cruise in Cairo to get to know the city and its most emblematic places.<\/p>\n

With N\u00faria in Assuan<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n The flight was very peaceful and in just over 4 hours we were in Luxor where they picked us up and took us to the ship where we would do the cruise.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n Columes\u00a0of the Karnak temple. Luxor<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n The cruise consisted of going down the Nile river in the south direction to Aswan and the planned stops were in Edfu, Kom Ombo and Aswan, in all these places as well as in Luxor we had scheduled visits and some small excursions we decided on the March.<\/p>\n We visit the temples of Luxor, Karnak, Edfu, Kom Ombo, the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens, the pyramids of Cheops, Kefren and Menkaure, the Sphinx and the temple of Abu Simbel on Lake Nasser. In a small trip like this you are transported to the past thanks to its ruins and its temples, but you also end up observing how technology and engineering can contribute to developing an area of the world that is still far from ours in all aspects.<\/p>\n Sunset in\u00a0Edf\u00fa<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n Egypt is one of the most important historical-cultural centers in the world, not in vain here was born one of the most developed civilizations of antiquity and it is where writing first appeared, essential means of communication for the human being.
